Brian Higgs QC

This portrait painting, commissioned in 2007, was set in Brian Higgs` chambers, 5 Kings Bench Walk. The oak panelling provided an excellent background. The lighting source was a window to the right. This lighting was good for sittings up to about 13.00 when the sun would start to come streaming through, thereby killing things for continuing to paint. Following Brians death in late 2016, 5KBW commissioned a further, smaller Head and Shoulders portrait painting, based on the 2007 work, to hang in the chambers.
