Price Guide

As described in the how I approach portrait painting section of the website, when the precise requirements of the client have been clarified, I shall quote a price. The price will be inclusive for the unframed portrait. The price will include my travelling time and expenses. No upfront deposit will be required. An invoice for the agreed amount will be issued when the client is completely satisfied with the finished portrait.

Prices typically start at £1,000 for a small head and shoulders including limited travel time. Price guides provided with the portrait images should give a good indication of likely quotes for particular types/sizes of portrait paintings. A 4 figure family portrait 32x24ins would be in the region of £7,000-£8,000.

Framing

Should you require advice regarding framing, I am happy to assist. For a fee, I can organise framing, if required. Framers often require 100% upfront payment, which will be payable by the client, as well as courier charges. I would agree a maximum framing budget with the client prior to organising the framing of the portrait.
